英語讀書筆記

一直都熱衷于幫助學(xué)生參加各種英語活動,并非只為名利,更多的是自己認(rèn)為以這樣的方式可以很有效的不斷的提高學(xué)生和自己的能力.作為教師,其實是很大的受益者,而且這種受益可以延續(xù)到職業(yè)結(jié)束.只在這一點上,任何從事其他職業(yè)的人,是不能從心底深處獲得這樣的感覺的.所以,我是幸運的.也因此會常常感激那些帶給我單純清澈和不斷地要學(xué)習(xí)要更新自己的祖國花朵們.

<百萬英鎊>讀后感

《百萬英鎊》是講一個貧窮、誠實的人，也就是這個故事的主人公收到了一對兄弟的信，信里面送給了他一百萬英鎊。原來這對兄弟打了一個賭，賭如果一個貧窮、誠實的人收到天上掉下的一百萬英鎊，他會有怎樣的結(jié)果?哥哥認(rèn)為他會餓死，因為他無法證明這些錢是他自己的，會受到別人的懷疑，連銀行都不會讓他存錢。弟弟則認(rèn)為他會過得很好，于是他們兄弟倆將一百萬英鎊的支票借給了這個貧窮的人，并出國呆了三十天。沒想到在這段時間內(nèi)，人們對這位突然暴富的罕見富翁，竟拼命地拉攏他，從免費吃飯，買衣服，到免費住宿，一個個像乞丐一樣討好他，并不斷提高他的社會地位，一直到了除王室外最高的公爵之上!不光如此，他還得到了一位好妻子和三萬英鎊的銀行利息，最后還從兩兄弟那兒得到了一份很好的工作。過著非常非常幸福的生活。

看到這兒，我很羨慕這位如此“幸運”的主人公，但同時我又想：人們之所以討好他，不就是因為當(dāng)時人們太看重金錢了嗎?拜金主義是可恥的，不勞而獲更不應(yīng)該!金錢不是萬能的，世界上還有許多比金錢更重要的東西……
