Ss: Good morning, teacher. ·Tell something about Jenny’s  family. Step 2 Presentation ·Introduce “birthday party. And tell them birthday is very important family activity. ” 背景知識(shí)：英美人士對自己和親友的生日都很重視，特別是年輕人，每次過生日都要舉行一個(gè)別開生面的生日party. 其中尤以16歲，18歲，21歲的生日party最重要。 ·Show pictures and introduce “birthday cake”，”balloons” “present” and read the new words several times. And tell origin of the candles on the birthday cake. Step 3 Practice ·Listen to the tape and repeat. ·Explain the meaning of sentences with “we are having ”. ·Practice and act. Read the dialogue with a partner and then act it out. Step 4 Sing the song “happy Birthday” This is a traditional English song that you sing to someone on their birthday, usually just before they blow out their birthday candles. Tell the student that a name gives in the blanks. Listen to the tape and follow. Step 5 Summary Step 6 Activity book Fill in to the blanks with the proper words. Step 7 Homework ·Finish off the exercises in the activity book. ·Practice reading the dialogue in the lesson. ·Preview Lesson 36.
