Dear David,
I’m glad you’ll come to Beijing to learn Chinese. Chinese is very useful, and many foreigners are learning it now. It’s difficult for you because it’s quite different from English. You have to remember as many Chinese words as possible. It’s also important to do some reading and writing. You can watch TV and listen to the radio to practice your listening. Do your best to talk with people in Chinese. You can learn Chinese not only from books but also from people around you. If you have any questions, please ask me. I’m sure you’ll learn Chinese well.
Hope to see you soon in Beijing
Yours,
Wang Ming

Dear Mr. Williams,
Thank you for your letter of congratulation on my exam results. I was very pleased to hear from you. The results were a great relief. I did much better than I thought I would.
We are having a celebration party on Saturday 22 May and we shall be pleased if you can come. It is a party for me, but my parents and some of their old friends are joining in, so you will find "real people" as well as teenagers to talk to.
The party starts at half past six- drinks, and a buffet supper later. You said in your letter that you've given up driving, so my father will meet you with the car at San Mateo station. Please let me know what time your train arrives.
There is a good train back to San Palo at 10:30 and we'll arrange transport for you to catch that. I hope that won't be too late for you. It would be a pity if you had to leave while the party was still in full swing.
I do hope that you will be able to come.
Yours sincerely,
Lily Chen

例如:may 17 XX。
或my dear… 如:dear li lei, dear miss thomas或my dear dad.

Dear Sir/Madam:
My name is ××× , and I will graduate from Xi'an FanYi University in the year 20xx, My major is secretary in English department.
It’s my great pleasure to have this opportunity to improve our mutual understanding. During the three –year college study, I tried my best to learn all kinds of knowledge, and weigh the hard work of my teachers and myself; I have mastered English listening, speaking, writing and reading skills.
Moreover, I have a good command of business English and the basic theory, public relationship of secretary. Meanwhile, in order to enlarge my knowledge, I always read some newspapers and magazines about business and trade, and I used to do some representative of business in my spare time. At the same time, I learnt computer skills during my summer vacation, and now I'm familiar with Office 20xx. It is my three –year college life that makes me form my life attitude. Also my three-year college life that makes me rich in knowledge, and it's also my three-year college life that makes me form my life attitude. Honesty, Trust, Diligence is principle of how to be a man.
As a college graduate, I believe "where there is a will, there is a way", and I will try my best to do a good job in my business. So I sincerely hope that I can make a position in your company so that I can serve for the company in the future.

Dear Sir,
I am highly disappointed in the proposed 20xx-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.
My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.
The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.
Education funds should not be diverted away from education.
Yours faithfully,
Tom Williams

Dear XXX,
How are you? It has been a long time since we last wrote to each other.
How are you doing in school? Were there any interesting events?
I have been trying very hard to learn English, but it has not improved much. I heard that your English is good and I would really appreciate it if you could give me some tips on studying English. How can we improve quickly over a short period of time? Also, do you have any shortcuts in learning grammar, gaining vocabulary and improving English speaking skills?
I will be anticipating your reply! Thank you so much!
Yours sincerely,

Dear Sirs:
Thank you for your letter of 20 January 20xx. We are disappointed to hear that our price for Flame cigarette lighters is too high for you to work on. You mention that Japanese goods are being offered to you at a price approximately 10% lower than that quoted by us.
We accept what you say, but we are of the opinion that the quality of the other makes does not measure up to that of our products.Although we are keen to do business with you,we regret that we cannot accept your counter offer or even meet you half way.
The best we can do is to reduce our previous quotation by 2%. We trust that this will meet with your approval. We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Sir,
I am writing to you for the mobile phone of Dephone—S250 I bought on 20th Apr。20xx at Tele Mall in Wuhan, P。R。 China。 Ten days after that, it didn’t ring and send short messages。 Then I took it to the seller, but was told that the model had been sold out and I had to wait at least three months for a new one。 I had no choice but to go to the repairman。 To my disappointment ,he said since it was a new model in China, it was impossible to fix it without the right spare parts。 I was so desperate on hearing that for I can not wait that long。 Therefore, I have to require that you send me a new one of the same model within a month。
Thank you for your consideration。

YES:Supplier training
NO:professional trainees from sister company should abide by rule of local company(太長) 主題框的內(nèi)容切忌含糊不清。
NO:像News about the meeting 這樣的表達(dá),
YES:New E-mail Address Notification;Detailed calculation
NO:detailed calculation
視信的內(nèi)容是否重要,還可以開頭加上URGENT或者FYI(For Your Information,供參考),如:URGENT:Submit your report today!
Smith。
Jimmy,
I received your memo and will discuss it with Eric on Wednesday.
Best,
David
YES: Messrs. Smith, Wyatt, and Fury 。 YES:用Mesdames, Mmes., or Mses.
Farb, Lionel, and Gray 。 Dr. and Mrs. Harold Wright ;Mr. Harold Wright and Dr. Margaret Wright ;Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Adams-Quinn 。
Ms. Sarah Gray
Ken Green, President /Ken Green /Vice President of International Operations
NO:Ken Green /Vice President of Unicom China
YES: Ken Green /Vice President, Unicom China
YES:Michael J. Smith, Jr. /Michael J. Smith Sr.
Dear Committee Member:
Dear Meeting Planner:
Dear Colleagues: To All Sales Reps:
To Whom It May Concern:
Dear Sir or Madam:
Dear Madam or Sir:
Dear Purchasing Agent:
YES: Gentlemen or Ladies: Ladies or Gentlemen:
NO:He did not make repairs, however, he continued to monitor the equipment.
YES:He did not make repairs; however, he continued to monitor the equipment.
NO:MUST change to OS immediately.
Respectfully yours, Yours respectfully,
Very truly yours, Yours very truly, Yours truly,
Sincerely yours, Yours sincerely, Sincerely, Cordially yours, Yours cordially, Cordially,
Regards, Warm regards, With kindest regards, With my best regards, My best, Give my best to Mary, Fondly, Thanks, See you next week!
有時在we, I, and you之間選擇是很煩的事-- 如果是公司代表聯(lián)絡(luò)生意之類,可以用: We will reimburse you for these legal expenses. Sinopec will reimburse you for these legal expenses. I found the brochure very informative. We are pleased to offer you the position of sales director, and I am looking forward to our Tuesday morning meeting.
那么I和you呢?
You will be pleased to learn that you have been selected to serve on our advisory board. Your prompt response will be appreciated.
I am pleased that our board has selected you as the best qualified candidate to serve on our advisory board. I hope you’ll agree to serve.
Your book was well written and comprehensive.
I thoroughly enjoyed your book and found an answer to every one of my questions about performance appraisals.
A、文法
Deciding to rescind the earlier estimate, our report was updated to include $40,000 for new equipment.
應(yīng)改為:Deciding to rescind our earlier estimate, we have updated our report to include $40,000 for new equipment.
He decided not to audit the last ten contracts. Because of our previous objections about compliance.
The owner questioned the occupant's lease intentions and the fact that the contract had been altered with ink markings.
應(yīng)改為:The owner questioned the occupant's lease intentions and ink alterations of the contract.
An authorized person must show that they have security clearance.
1)This is one of the public-relations functions that is under budgeted.
2)This is one of the public-relations functions, which are under budgeted.
127 Ninth Avenue, North
127 E. 15 Street
5 Park Avenue
One Wingren Plaza
556 - 91 Street
(1).Because he was unable to attend the meeting personally, he forwarded his congratulations on cassette tape.(2).He forwarded his congratulations on cassette tape because he was unable to attend the meeting personally.
例如: but (相反), therefore (結(jié)論), also (增添), for example (闡明).
