肖申克的救贖觀后感英文 1
Shawshank Redemption is a film co-operated by white people and black people. It told a story about the life in the prison.
A man called Andy Dufresne, was sent into the prison, Shawshank, for he murderer his wife and her lover in bed. However, he was innocent as he said. The new days in the prison were hard to live. It’s violent, heartless and cruel. A month later, Andy began to make friends with other prisoners. One of them called Red, who could get anything what he wanted. Andy bought a mallet from him and started his plan to escape. During this time, he did many things: expanding the library, caving stones, making tainted money for the prison governor, etc. It took him 20 years to tunnel secretly and he successfully escaped from the prison. Before that, Andy had told his best friend Red that his dream---Zihuatanejo, a warm place without memory. After escaping, Andy lived a free life in another identity and made the prison governor arrested. Several years later, Red was approved to leave. He had lived inside for 40 years. He was institutionized. Sometimes he thought of getting back again as he didn’t belong the world, but he didn’t, for the promise to Andy. Finally, in Zihuyatanejo, they met.
It is a good film. The cruel prison life terrified me and the friendship moved me. The story goes to a happy ending---redemption.
肖申克的救贖觀后感英文 2
Based on the Stephen King (non-horror) novella “Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption”, this is a simple story of hope made remarkable by the interaction between the two lead characters. Both Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman do a fine job in terms of making their roles genuine and appealing, and also in the way they work so well together. The production values throughout are outstanding, but this is not a “fancy” film. Rather, it sticks to the story it is telling without resorting to flashy tricks to grab the audience’s attention.
Although there is violence, some of it extreme, it is necessary to show the kind of place the prison is and is certainly not gratuitous. The main theme is hope, not despair, and the violence serves only as a backdrop to that message. Unashamedly a feelgood movie, by the end one is wishing only that it would continue for a few more moments.

肖申克的救贖觀后感英文 5
In fact, I have seen the old film “Shawshanks redemption” a long time ago. I have brushed it again these days. From the time of shooting to now, the old film after more than ten years is still full of charm. It mainly tells the story of Andys “self salvation” in order to see the light again and pursue freedom. The film conveys a strong desire for freedom and a firm belief in hope. This movie really has a lot to learn.
Shawshank is not a name, but a prison. As the name implies, it is a place where prisoners are imprisoned and people are transformed. Here, the criminals report whatever they do, and finally let them become the dead bodies of the lost souls. Hope, freedom and dignity are all dead here. As Rhett put it, “when you first enter prison, you hate the walls around you; slowly, you get used to living in them; eventually you find yourself forced to live on them.” In this movie, prison has been given a deeper meaning.
Lao Bu, a 70 year old man who has spent half a century in prison. Here he can earn a little respect from other prisoners with his education. One day, when he learned that he had been released, his first reaction was fear. Just as the caged birds have lost the ability to fly after being locked for too long, Lao Bu has lost the ability to survive in the society, so he is inevitably eliminated by the society. In fact, Lao Bu tried to integrate into the society, but the distance of 50 years became an insurmountable obstacle. At last, Lao Bu committed suicide in a dark house.
Lao Bus tragedy made our hearts ache. In the movie, Rhett thinks that Lao Bus tragedy is due to institutionalization, and that he, even the whole prison, is falling victim to institutionalization. So in reality, some students with poor psychological quality are performing the same tragedy. Some students stay in school for too long. After entering the society, like Lao Bu, they are not recognized by the society because of their lack of survival ability. After experiencing setbacks, I was overwhelmed and ended my young life.
Andy was a young and promising banker, but he was wrongly killed his wife, but the murderer was not found, was sentenced to two life imprisonment. In Shawshanks high wall, Andy not only suffered from strict management system, but also received the physical torture of “three sisters”. In such a case, everyone will lose his mind, but Andy is the exception.
Andy never complains about the unfairness of life, but quietly tries to grasp his own destiny. Calm, brave, indomitable, never give up to fight with wisdom, which is the difference between Andy and what we lack in the face of difficulties and setbacks. In the face of difficulties, we are always too impetuous, eager to complain rather than to think; always too timid, eager to escape rather than to face. Thats what were going to learn from Andy in the movie.
When everyone thought Andy was going to be crushed, he found his freedom after climbing 500 yards of stinking pipes on a stormy night. In 20 years, a stone hammer combined with Andys unyielding belief and desire for freedom finally dug a road that Rhett thought would take 600 years to dig. In fact, Andy is always free, his heart is not bound by Shawshanks strength, and his desire for freedom and his belief in escaping has never wavered. Because the system can only regulate a persons behavior, but not imprison peoples thoughts.
肖申克的救贖觀后感英文 6
“Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies.” When Andy Dufresne puts it in such a quiet way, my heart ache because of it. Have you ever felt that way about hope? Hope is the only thing in the wild world not carved out of gray stone. Hope is a small place inside of us anyone can never lock away. That is what I’ve learnt from an excellent movie The Shawshank Redemption.
The story begins in 1947, when Andy Dufresne, a city banker, is wrongfully convicted of his wife and her lover. He is sent to Shawshank prison and receives a double life sentence for the crime. In shawshank, Andy forms an extraordinary friendship with Red, a man who knows how to get things from the outside. Andy gets a 5 inches long rockhammer and a huge poster from Red, by which he secretly puts his pipedream into practice. After 20 years digging, Andy tunnels through the prison wall. Then he crawls 500 yards through the sewer and gets out into a ditch near the field beyond the ground of Shawshank, with no equipment, no one knows.
On the first viewing, it’s the story of Andy and his struggle to maintain hope despite his circumstances. However, this is really a movie about Red and his struggle to find meaning and purpose. It seems that we are more or less similar with Red, because we’ve got used to the gray walls around us, which stand for routine, and then more routine. If one day, these walls dessolve away, we’ll be afraid instead of free. We’re afraid of not being ruled? That sounds ridiculous, but we actually are! Fortunately, when Red is faced with the same situation as we are, because of Andy, he can find a different path—the path of freedom that is lit by hope.
Sometimes, we feel many things have let us down and don’t hope for the good anymore. But I have to say, suffering is not always a bad thing. Suffering produces perseverance, character, and character, hope. If we can see hope through all the hardship, nothing’s gonna stop us marching towards victory!
Hope is the chief happiness the world affords. Hope encourages people to keep fighting for dreams, freedom and dignity. Hope helps people to appreciate the beauty of life. “He once is born, that is die.” Everyone is the same. The only difference is whether you get a busy living or a busy dying. Remember we aren’t the birds that meant to be caged, when we spread our wings and fly away, we’ll appreciate the trembling of the heart, the singing of the mind, the flying of the soul and the hope to be free.

肖申克的救贖觀后感英文 9
God, or god in a wider sense, and human virtue, justice, are not externaldemands on human beings, are not letters on paper, are not banners for variousinterests. On the contrary, they arise from the inner needs of human beings, thepursuit of eternal values, and the inspection and discovery of the constantlychanging objective world. And only then will God, or religion and faith, guideyou through your own salvation and your own breakthrough. Ive been readingbuddhist altar sutra, six ancestors huineng founded to "sex" sees the Chinesezen Buddhism, the root is also mastered chan is no longer a way, a kind oftheory, a kind of discipline, is no longer the outward things, but of lifeexists in the deep hearts core, which reflects the rationality of religiousnature. Unlike eastern Buddhas who seek ethereality and transcendence, WesternGods may be more fixated on original sin and redemption, but both are productsof the human mind.
Andy with their wisdom and perseverance, finally completed the miracle ofthe escape, and let the warden get the deserved punishment. After he got out ofprison, why did he leave instead of following the usual Hollywood logic andtrying to prove his innocence?
Because God exists within. Sin and non-sin, at the level of the soul, thereis no need to prove but to constantly examine oneself! When asked again if hehad been reinvented before being paroled, Rhett said frankly, "Reinvented? Idont quite understand the meaning of this word. I used to repent every day, notbecause I was here, or because you thought I should repent. I tried to tell theyoung man who had sinned in the past what was right and wrong, but he could notfind it. Only the old man was left with white hair. The Shawshank Redemptionpointed out the way to salvation. God walks with the human soul at alltimes!
In the name of religion, doctrine, law and even justice, many people inmodern society, like The warden NORTON, have lost their basic honesty andcharacter as a human being in the name of personal and group self-interest, inthe name of exculpation, rhetoric and sophistry. When a man is accustomed toacting and without introspection, he has fallen into the hell of eternaldamnation, let alone redemption!
