　　The week long National Day holiday which started from Oct. I has become not only an occasion for celebrating the birth of the nation but also a time for people to relax. After all, under great pressure every day, everyone longs to slow down and rediscover the real fun of life.

　　My only hope for the week long holiday was also to relax myself well, instead of playing well. I slept until the sun was shinning above, ate my favorite food which I scarcely have because of their high calorie, and enjoyed different kinds of films from day to night.

　　Usually, I seldom went out during the holidays, as it was too terrible to battle the National Day holiday crowds. But this time, I couldn＇t resist myself against the performance of music fireworks whose theme was "All Colors of Music".

　　As a part of the International Music Fireworks Festival, the performance of music fireworks, designed by the Swedish artists, was staged at Century Park in Pudong on the night of October 3.

　　The scene, a spectacular combination of fireworks exploding in harmony with the music, made powerful visual and audio impact on me. The artists selected for the performance various pieces of music, including classical music by Beethoven and Strauss, some representative popular compositions such as "My Heart Will Go on". With the music, the fireworks were set off in different formations. I could admire the fireworks in the sky as well as their reflections in the water.

　　Arising from the River surface to the height of 300 meters in the sky, multi-layered and rich colored fireworks formulated an extremely spectacular picture. One of the most eye catchers was that nearly 1000 sparkling pieces of fireworks along the surface of the water formed a red carpet with 80 meters long and 250 meters wide. At the same time, a 10 meter-high waterfall firework rushed downwards the bridge across Jingtian Lake and simultaneously the red lantern shaped fireworks filled the sky. It really took me on a romantic tour as the fireworks explode.

　　Movie is my favorite that I always watch movies when I am free. Since I like English very much, so the English movie is my favorite, too. Among so many films I have watched, the one I like best is High School Musical. This film tells the stories about two high school juniors from rival cliques – Troy Bolton, captain of the basketball team, and Gabriella Montez, a beautiful and shy transfer student who is a hard working girl. Together, they try out for the lead parts in their high school musical. In this process, a series of stories happen, but in the end, the musical achieves great success and Troy and Gabriella fall in love with each other. It’s totally a happy ending. I like this movie because the high school life in that is so colorful and amazing, which I admire so much. Besides, everyone loves happy ending of love story. 我喜歡電影，平時有時間的時候我一般都是看電影。

　　Today, the movies and Internet around children have too many things about violence and sex. As a result, though we have tried all means to let children know only what they should know,children have known as much as adults. According to statistics,the underage CRIme rate is rising at a surprising speed. In addition, because laws in some places prohibit underage girls to have abortion without permissions from parents, the increasing number of unmarried mothers is also a worrying phenomenon.

　　Some surveys show that most 14 to 15 year old children think they are already grown ups, and are eager to behave in their own ways. But the adults＇ society doesn＇t think so. Consequently, misunderstandings and quarrels between children and their parents and teachers have never stopped.

　　Since we cannot change children, we can change our law.We should allow children over 15 to make decisions about their lives without the interference of their parents or teachers, and let them assume the responsibility for their own behaviors. Maybe in this way, the world would be more peaceful.
