Amongall means of transportation, I like bicycle most. It’s cheap as well aspopular.

Thereare many advantages to ride the bicycle. In the first place, riding bicycle makesme feel independent. I can go anywhere by bicycle. Especially during rushhours, I can still move freely. While riding a bicycle, I can exercise myself, which ishealthful to me.

A study found pedal power could cut the risk of dying prematurely by 41%.

Those who walk to work experience major health benefits too, but not to the same degree as people using their bike, experts found.

Dr Carlos Celis-Morales, from the University of Glasgow which carried out the research, said: “This may be because walkers commuted shorter distances than cyclists, typically six miles per week, compared with 30 miles per week and walking is generally a lower intensity of exercise than cycling.”

The study found that compared with driving or taking public transport, cycling to work is linked to a 45% lower risk of developing cancer. It was 46% for cardiovascular disease.

Researchers found that walking to work was associated with a 27% lower risk of developing cardiovascular disease. But it did not significantly reduce the likelihood of getting cancer.

There were also some health advantages to cycling part of a journey. Dr Jason Gill, from the university, urged the government to make it easier for people to commute by bike, including creating more cycle lanes and bike hire schemes.

He said it would generate “major opportunities for public health improvement”.

What Can We Benefit From Riding Bicycles?

Speaking of bicycle, some people think ithas outdated in many big cities. However, some people think that it is stillpopular for them because people can exercise themselves by riding bicycle. Forme, I think people can get lots of benefits from riding bicycles.

First, we can become healthier by ridingbicycles. Since people are busy with works, they have almost no time to doexercise. But if they ride bike to work, then they can practice themselvesquite often. Consequently, they will be healthier.

Secondly, bicycle is good for ourenvironment. In almost all big cities, the average temperature is a bit higherthan countryside for there are too many car emissions there. We all know thatpeople in big cities like to drive cars to go to work rather than taking publictransportations. Therefore, our environment is polluted by lots of emissions. If more people join in the trend to ride bicycles to work, then our air qualitywill be improved obviously.

In conclusion, riding bicycle not only can makeus healthier but also it is good for protecting ourenvironment. So, we should encourage more people to ride bicyclesquite often than driving cars.

是否支持大學(xué)生戀愛(ài) Should We Approve of Dating in University?

Now it is commonly held that dating inuniversity is acceptable, which has become a hot point under discussion. Somepeople hold the opinion that students should put their study in the first place. Besides, fall in love with someone could causes extra spending, which is aburden for students and their parents. While others argue that dating could begood for students.

Forone thing, dating could help student learn how to be more socialize. Now thephenomenon is not rare to see that students only show up in classroom, dormitory and refectory, this triangle model makes students have less chance tomake now friends that will probably lead to social apathy. For that reason, weshould approve of dating in university, so that students could have more motivepower to go out to find someone who is fit in them. Obviously, the ability ofsocialize will be promoted by osmosis.

Foranother, there is an old saying which goes that men and women with the work andnot tired. It is true that when a couple work or study together, they will feelless exhausted, because we always want to show our best side to the one welove. Besides, student couple study together is more efficient, for they havethe same target and they will encouraged each other.

Taking all these factors into account, we should approve of dating inuniversity. It could make college life more vividly, enrich student’s lifestyle and help them to be more socializing.

我們?cè)摴膭?lì)農(nóng)村孩子上大學(xué)么?Should We Encourage Rural Children to go to University?

Recently, an opinion from a representative of NPC &CPPCC has aroused a heated discussion all over the country. He said we should not encourage rural children to go to university, because almost all of them will not go back to their hometown. As to this opinion, I can’t see an eye to eye to it, I have several reasons to support my view.

In the first place, going to university is an excellent way to receive higher education, which is very important for one’s scholarly attainments. Many people think Society University is much better than regular university, for people could learn actually things that they can use in society after they graduated from university. However, this society’s job opportunity is a big fan of a higher degree employee.

In the second place, as the representatives says, children who go to university randomly go back to hometown, hence, they should not go to university. If all the children do what the representatives said, they don’t go to university, just stay in hometown, doing the things like their ancestors. What a disaster, the country never develops in this way. A country only develops with new knowledge. Besides, not all of the students didn’t want to go back to hometown, they just want to make more money to offer their parents a better life.

On the whole, we can’t encourage rural children not to university just because they might not go back to hometown after they graduated. We should encourage them to go to university to receive higher education, it is for them and the country’s own good.

Should We Put A Limit on Private Cars?

With the rapiddevelopment of Chinese economic and the improvement of living standards ofordinary people, more and more private cars are on road. Some people thinkprivate cars can bring great convenience to the owners while others argue thatgovernment should put a limit on private cars. In my humble opinion, we shouldput a limit on private cars.

First of all, themore private cars, the more traffic jams. If people stuck on a traffic jam, itwill cost them a lot of time, some people even late for work. What’s more, nowadays finding a parking spot is much harder than before because there aretoo many cars on streets. Sometimes you just arrive at the destination, but youjust cannot find a place to park your car. The place is so crowded that youhave to park in other place which may be far away from your destination.

Secondly, theprice of gasoline and repairs are constantly rising, not to mention the pricesfor the insurance and the fear of being stolen. If you do not make enoughmoney, you can barely pay for the fees of the cars. This can cause great burdento your daily life.

Last but notleast, the cars produce tens of thousands of carbon dioxide, which will creategreenhouse effect and other serious environmental pollution. Someenvironmentalists predict that in the next few years, the ozone layer willfully disappear and will increase the rate of getting skin cancer. And the airwe breathe in is not as pure as before, do we really need to sacrifice ourfuture to enjoy the so called convenience?

Due to thesereason, I think people should think twice before they buy a private car. Weshould not only consider the increasing cost of owning a car, but also shouldthink about the future we have. It’s not only a personal thing, but also thewhole country, the whole world.

A Mixed Class is Preferred

“In myclass, there are two Japanese and one American. We are getting along well andit’s fun to study together with people from different cultures.” This is how acollege student describes his class. Recently with rapid development ofeconomy, China is embracing more foreign students who are eager to learnChinese and know about Chinese culture. In my opinion, a mixed class is morepreferable to an exclusive one in terms of benefits of both foreign and Chinesestudents.

I have reason to support my view. Foreignstudents may find it very helpful to further improve their language skills in amixed class. Provided that their Chinese is competent enough to follow thelectures, a mixed class furnishes them with a golden opportunity to brush uptheir Chinese proficiency and understand Chinese people. Only in this way canthey get into closer contact with Chinese. Coming from afar, they are reluctantto be separated and treated as “ foreigners”. Hence to their benefits, weshould not set barriers for their deeper involvement. Only by mixing withChinese students can they gain a better knowledge of Chinese culture.

Taking into account of all these factors, wemay arrive at the conclusion that it is beneficial to adopt the practice of amixed class. A seemingly trivial event as it is in study, it may exert aprofound impact on both students’ individual life and cross-culturalcommunication.

The Gap Between the Rich And the Poor

It has been obvious that Chinese economy developed so fast thanks to the policy of Open and Reform. The main cities such as Beijing,Shanghaiand Shenzhen have become Chinese highly developed areas. While the problem comes, at the same time, the small cities is less rich, the people there is poor. The people in the main cities are much richer than whose in the small cities, the unfair situation makes some poor people hate the rich, they score what the rich do.

In china, there is no doubt that the gas between the rich and the poor has become larger, most of the fortune is owned by the rich, though the poor is working very hard, they still can’t change their situation. The number of the poor occupies most, while the rich is only a small group, as a result, the poor begin to query the society, they have the idea that no matter how hard they work, they are still the same. Such situation frustrates the workers, the unfairness let them hate the rich from their hearts.

The government has noticed the situation long time before, they try hard to balance the gas between the rich and the poor, they emphasize the fairness and carry out some relative policies.

Our after school life is rich and colorful, like the colorful shells on the beach. One of the best to watch is to learn how to ride a bicycle.

On that day, my mother helped me push my bike into the yard. My mother held the bike. I stepped on the pedal, sat on the cushion, pushed my foot, and the mother pushed. The bike was like a horse running on the grassland. I thought to myself: riding a bike was so simple, I thought I could not learn it! I said in a triumphant voice, "Mum, let me go and let me ride for a while, so you can rest for a while."! Mother was still not sure, shouted, "be careful, don't fall.". I rode my bicycle carefully. At first I was riding reel right and left gradually I mastered the skills. Suddenly, a huge stone appeared ahead. I panicked and didn't know what to do. I cried out. "Help!". Mother heard me, and before I could run over, I fell to the ground. I said angrily; Oh, I was mad, my ass are blooming. Mother said, "how many times can I do it without dropping it?" I said, after listening to my mother, I stood up bravely and continued to ride my bike. Finally, after practicing for two hours, I learned.

Now I ride my bike very fast. Look, the wheels in the dance, listen to bell, singing. How happy!

Today, my father and mother took me to buy a bike. When I got to the supermarket to buy a car, I took a fancy to a small pink bike. After buying it, I couldn't wait to ask my father to teach me how to ride a bike.

Dad agreed, and I rolled the car out of the door happily. "&ldquo," my father said to me. "I hold the car behind you. You grab the tap, sit tight, and ride boldly.". ” I carefully according to the words of my father, but the car didn't listen to me, always reel right and left.

Then, my father taught me to train, I have been left crooked, dad said: “ bus, car to the right a little oblique, can fast trip. &rdquo: I did what my father said, and sure enough, it was a little bit more stable. I can go a little way.

This practice for a while, I sweat, a look back, see dad has helped the bike, panting.

Everyone will have one of the most memorable thing, in my memory, the most unforgettable is learning to ride a bike.

Remember that day, my father bought me a bike, and helped me adjust the height of the cushion. I happily sat on my bike and tried cycling. I hold the handle, one foot on one foot in, when I was about to have a foot pedal, don't hold the center of gravity, the bike “ Bang ” look down on the ground, I threw a &ldquo &rdquo on his face;. Don't adults often say that bicycles are good to ride? How did I fall off? Because the technology is not enough; … … thinking about it, a question suddenly comes to my mind: do I ride on or give up? &ldquo? Give up? It's not my style to give up when it's difficult to meet The bike was so difficult to ride that you might have broken it before you could learn to ride it. "&rdquo," I said to myself. At this time, my father encouraged me: “ children, you do things to persevere, can not give up halfway. If you don't ride, didn't the fall just fall off? ”

After listening to my father, I was deep in thought. Finally, I got on my bike. I hold hands, feet up and down, when the car down dip, my left foot in the opposite direction of a top, a moment with the car balance, a foot pedal, a bicycle on the road. I felt a sigh of relief. But, in that instant, the car unwittingly entered the downhill section, began shaking. I was just like that. When the car was leaning to the right, I put my right foot to the ground a little. This time I was too hard, the car fell to the left at once, and even people with cars fell to the ground. This time, I badly bruised and torn trousers, the foot also break the skin.

Once again I want to give up, but saw the father looking eyes, I want to give up the idea thrown out.

I continued to ride my bike. Three, four, and five times; … … fall, do not give up, climb up and fall, and then fall … … anyway, I still silently diligently. Finally, my insistence was not in vain. In the sixth time, I put the brakes on the downhill, kept a steady pace, took hold of the direction, slowly let the car roll past, &hellip, …

Dad smiled happily when he saw how well I rode.

A long time ago, my father bought a bike for me, but I was afraid of wrestling, so I didn't go to school. The bicycle was left alone in the garage and all grey. Finally, in my father's strong request, I can only heart unwilling to be my father pulled to learn cycling.

First of all, my father gave me a demonstration. He saw his hands clenched the car handle, sitting in the parking spaces, the right leg gently placed on the pedal, and then a hard pedal, then left leg and then step on the pedal, feet Cross movement, so that the bike is firmly forward. Dad rode back and forth and handed me the car and said, "come and have a try."!"

I carefully got into the car, holding the handle tightly with both hands, and left my left foot on the pedal on the left. My father pressed his hand tightly into the back seat of the car. I pushed my left foot and put my right foot on the right pedal quickly. Then, when my feet were stepping hard, my bike began to move slowly. I see dad when riding a bicycle is very obedient, but in my hand it was like a naughty child, I want it to the east west side, ride a crooked, reel right and left. At this point, my father said, "when riding a bike, hold the handle tightly and keep it balanced. Keep your eyes in front of you. Don't stare at the ground. Relax."." I did as my father told me, and sure enough, the bike was much more obedient than before. As the speed of the car slowly increased, I was gradually balanced, when my father slipped my hand while I was not paying attention. As a result, my heart a panic, hand a loose, leading a crooked, feet step on a pound, thump fell into the grass. I cried out, father said: "man, do not move, shed tears, persist is victory."!" I stopped crying and rode around in circles. Gradually, I became more and more skillful, and my father could let go completely.

Now, I like riding a bike, I ride it to school, riding it along the district stroll, riding it to find a small partner to play...... It feels great!

There is a bicycle in my family, both men and women, old and young. Often my mother used it. I yelled at my mother to teach me, but mum was always busy and left me and my sister.

My father and mother bought me a bike when I was four years old. My father said that I should be exposed to such things early. So he taught me how to ride a car every day after work.

I remember the first day when I learned to ride a bicycle, it was downstairs in my house. I was scared at that time. There are two small wheels on both sides of the rear wheel, that is to prevent the car from tilting, but I still don't keep the balance. Only daddy holds the car in the back, I dare to ride.

I got up from the ground, ran to my father, and cried, "&ldquo, why don't you help me at the back?" &rdquo: Dad said it was because I rode so fast that he couldn't catch up, so he stopped asking. I cried even worse when I heard that. I asked again, "&ldquo, why didn't you come and help me when I fell down?" &rdquo when he heard this, Dad's face became serious. He said, "&ldquo, I knew you would say so.". Boy, you think, if I don't help you, you won't get up? You are doing very well today, fall down, also know to climb up, some children wait for parents to help them, you don't think, if the parents are not around them, they have been on the ground can not get up?

On the second day, I decided to practice. Absorbed the lesson of yesterday, study attentively and attentively. I sat on my bike, and my mother controlled the bike 's hips behind me to keep me from falling to the left and right. I pushed my foot gently and the car moved forward! Oh, I made it! I was so excited that I continued to pedal slowly and felt that wrestling was worth it yesterday. Gradually, I was relaxed, and my feet were stepping hard. Suddenly, there were several rough cement road piles in front of them, which stopped on the road which was not wide. Oh, what should I do? How can I avoid it? I was anxious and afraid, did not dare to air out, a blank mind, let the "wild horse" rushed forward to just in front of a car slowly downhill, crooked gliding, miraculously from the middle of the walk through cement pile. The car gradually slowed down, and I slowly return to God, and quickly squeezed the brakes, and got off the car, still lingering fear.

I have been practicing a ten day, still lose self-control independent ride, how also can not grasp the skills of cycling.

On that day, I rode my bicycle as usual, and my mother was behind me in the backseat of the car. When I turned around for a few laps, I found my mother standing alone and smiling at me. Ah? I was completely unaware that my mother had let go! "I learned it at last."!" I'm wild with joy.

It turned out that learning to ride a bike was not as difficult as I had imagined. As long as you are serious and patient, the joy of success will slowly come to you!

Speaking of bicycle, some people think it has outdated in many big cities. However, some people think that it is still popular for them because people can exercise themselves by riding bicycle. For me, I think people can get lots of benefits from riding bicycles.

First, we can become healthier by riding bicycles. Since people are busy with works, they have almost no time to do exercise. But if they ride bike to work, then they can practice themselves quite often. Consequently, they will be healthier.

Secondly, bicycle is good for our environment. In almost all big cities, the average temperature is a bit higher than countryside for there are too many car emissions there. We all know that people in big cities like to drive cars to go to work rather than taking public transportations. Therefore, our environment is polluted by lots of emissions. If more people join in the trend to ride bicycles to work, then our air quality will be improved obviously.

In conclusion, riding bicycle not only can make us healthier but also it is good for protecting our environment. So, we should encourage more people to ride bicycles quite often than driving cars.

Bike is a popular means of transportation .It is a friendly environment transport tool.I like riding bikes when go travelling or go shopping.

Nowdays motor cars are increasingly popular but I think it will cause a lot of damage to us .

First it will give out lots of waste gas, which will contribute to the global warming. It is bad for our earth.

Second.the number of the cars is becoming larger and larger and the crowded traffic will certainly bring about the risk of safety.

So I think riding a bike is a better choice if we take environment into consideration.

Bicycling is also good for our environment, bicycles are 100% pollution free; cycling is good for our health; besides,Bicycle riding is the least expensive way of traveling apart from walking.

Although there are so many advantages,it also has its own limitations:it is unsuitable for long journey;most bikes don't have a roof in case of rain; we can't bring our family with us, unless they have bikes of their own, etc.

  I Like Riding Bicycle

When I was very small, I felt so envious to see the children riding bicycle, I thought they were so cool. So I tried so hard to learn how to ride it. I still remembered the day when I could ride bicycle and I was so proud. Today, bicycle is still my favorite transportation. On the one hand, I can exercise my body. I ride the bicycle to go to school, it is true that I do have the strong body, because I barely feel sick. On the other hand, riding the bicycle can protect our environment. Bicycle works with our legs instead of the gasoline. The gasoline burns and it lets out the air which can pollute our environment. So taking the bike is a good way to protect our environment. I think I will continue to keep bike as my favorite transportation.
